Website is live

For the past week I have been building my website. Finally I have a section to show. The website still needs lots of improvement though but finding time to work on it is difficult with a baby and returning to work. So hopefully the website will be fully operational early next year.

I have also made two cards this week. One is a carry on for the Christmas card and the second one is a birthday card for my friend's daughter and she is having a birthday party next month.

Die: Spellbinders Shapeabilities creat a flake and Nestabilities Labels Seventeen

I've used bow-easy to make the bow in the card and it does come out perfect. Even though the instruction that comes with it is hard to follow and I have to search the instruction from the Internet. But once you got the hang of it it is quite easy.

But now as I need to post the birthday card, I will need to make a box for it. Does any one got any idea on how to make a envelope box for a 3d card?

If anyone is interested to my not so fully operation website. Here is the link

  2. Had a quick look-see at your new website, nice! I'm sure it will be fully functional in no time. :) Love the cards, wow, they are so pretty. I don't know how you make them look so nice. I end up gluing things to myself! :)

  3. Lovely cards! Here is a link for a box template which I'm sure you could adapt size and depth wise to fit your cards. Mich :) http://yayoi.senri.ed.jp/departments/OISTech/OISDT/gr7dt/smbox.gif

  7. lovely cards! really like the roses! box envelopes are quite easy to make, I do them all the time and now I don't need a template. You just need to adjust a box template for your greeting card dimensions and if posting it I would use really thick cardboard (like the card on the back of a pad of writing paper) & super glue. Or if you want to use thinner card, double fold the sides and reinforce the inside with extra pieces of card. The other thing worth doing is trying to keep the box smaller than a letter box opening so the postman does not try to squash it through! :)

  11. I agree with Anna, it is a lovely uncluttered website, I like the little butterflies in the design. Well done, it's difficult finding the time to get everything done.

  12. Definitely, a clean, uncluttered look on a website is the way to go, and yours is looking good so far. I hate the ones where colours merge into the writing and you struggle to read anything.
I love that card with the lattice edging - very pretty.

Only just had my WOYWW posted as I have been away and now am hoping someone can guess where I have been - little prize for the first to do it. Hugs, Neet #133
